AI Part One: The First Big Difference Between Me & ChatGBT

My clients have begun asking about ChatGBT.

It makes a lot of sense.

They’re wondering-----why do they need a writer or a personal brand messaging expert when ChatGBT can do this for free?

And here’s my assessment:

Yes, as long as you know what information to GIVE ChatGBT, it can write well.

You can use it for a Case Study or White Paper or a Report. Absolutely!

And it can write in a specific style. Fo sho.

But ChatGPT is not a journalist.

ChatGPT does not know how to distinguish you from other award-winning, experienced, process-driven, master-listening coaches.

ChatGPT has not given birth.

ChatGPT does not have a mortgage.

ChatGPT does not have a guilty pleasure.

ChatGPT has never considered its own bravery.

ChatGPT does not nerd out on Ozark or Shrinking or Succession.

ChatGPT does not know the words to any Pearl Jam songs or associate them with a memory of their first job.

ChatGPT has never been passionate about anything.

ChatGPT has never laughed.

ChatGPT has never experienced imposter syndrome.

ChatGPT does NOT KNOW THE RIGHT QUESTIONS TO ASK YOU.

ChatGPT DOES NOT ASK QUESTIONS……AT ALL.

ChatGPT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO LEAD YOU TO THE TRUTH.

ChatGPT will NOT HELP YOU SEE YOURSELF IN A NEW LIGHT.

ChatGPT will NOT HELP YOU FIND YOUR OWN VOICE.

ChatGPT is relying on YOU TO FEED IT THE RIGHT STUFF.

And this is the MAGIC I bring to my clients.

I ask the right questions---sometimes in 12 different ways to accommodate their personality or vibe--and mine them for their own MAGIC.

So…….you can get a profile from ChatGPT. And it’s going to be well written and sound smooth.

But it is NOT going to help you STAND OUT from the competition.

And it is not going to help you FIND YOUR WAY.

And it will NOT channel your authentic voice.

At least not yet.

Jus sayin.
